Welcome to back to the Ass Backwards Anime Podcast. I missed you guys and gals. Did you miss us? I hope you did. Sorry for the wait. We are backed up on episodes and need to release these for something more important. If you are aware of the news, I am sure you can take a guess as to what we will be talking about in the future. I love being vague. Until then, here is the first of three episode will be release this week. Yes, three episodes this week. I am not going to get interrupted by random hotel parties or Scott Pilgrim for the rest of the week. I thought I would begin today with something we recorded before going to Mizucon a few weeks ago. We talk about an anime about someone awesome, another anime about a lucky bastard, then a drama about an awesome bastard and a lucky idiot and we end it with a British series about a famous, awesome bastard.

Sorry for the wait. Busy watching movies and getting degrees. Now that have finished our piracy episode, you can now listen to something completely irrelevant. Here is our con report for Anime Festival Orlando 11. I again manage to not take any pictures. I even bought a new camera. I stink.

Anime Festival Orlando is this week and we are going to be heading there. Expect things. In the meantime, here is another episode to make up for the lack of episodes last month. Recorded not long after our piracy episode, we recorded an episode of the current anime season with Funkatron and Josh Dunham from the Josh and Friends Podcast. This was recorded some time before Otakon and I somehow predicted one of this season’s shows getting licensed. Find out which one at the end of the episode...or the beginning.

After all the trouble, we finally bring you this three hour long episode about piracy. For reals this time. Trust me, this took some effort to fix with all the dropped calls and the sound quality. We ended up having a lot of people join in on this episode. Aside from our usual hosts, we have Firecrouch and Funkatron from the Unofficial One Piece Podcast, Mikey D. Pirate from the One Piece at a Time Blog, and to even out the One Piece lovefest (which didn’t work out during the recording), we have Gothic Garra from the Konoha Corner Podcast, a Naruto podcast. Since this took longer than I wanted to, I will be releasing another episode tomorrow to make up for the long delays between recent episodes.
