Episode 11 - At Least Do It in the Ear

This is the cheese crusted episode of the A*s Backwards Anime Podcast. Code Geass with be the topic for this episode. There are spoilers. You have been warned. We go all over the place. So if you want structure, you are going to have to listen to something else.

(0:00-5:50)Intro

I will not be putting goatsee, so don't worry about it. I will be putting the pictures that Bond Girl was looking at. Obviously it was Hyori related.

I think I should have check these first.

(5:51-24:05)Discussion(Season One)

The nostalgia filled part of the episode. Now I have to go find Darkwing Duck again. Yeah, I know I skipped a lot of stuff.

(24:06-36:46)Discussion(Season Two)

We skipped way to many things here, but we still have the power of friendship that makes us continue through the episode.

Corrections:
Jeremiah got a Geass Canceler, not so much an unlocker. We never explained, but Shirley was geassed by Lelouch to forget that he was Zero. Charles, Lelouch's dad, had a the geass to rewrite people's memories explaining why the second season began the way it did.

(36:47-50:14)Discussion(I don't want to get off on a rant here, but...)

Yeah, I know I am repeating the same thing that is being said by people who thinks the show ended the way it did. I actually have a lot more to say on this subject, but since no one decided to help me out in the episode, I never got to go deeper on some things. Things like:

The Code Transfer Theory
C.C.'s Name
Nunnally's Ability (Or what was told on the "fake" cellphone only site.)
Creator Interviews

I may go back to this some other time. If you want to comment on some of these subjects you can email us or leave a comment.

Let me be honest for a second. This show may be great, but it still has it's flaws. Whatever you think is the answer for you, that is o.k. I think that you have to be willing to accept that there is an answer, especially if it is coming from the creator's mouth. Regardless of how you want to interpret the interview, I think what matters is the question that was asked. Do you consider this a good end or a bad end? I have been willing to see this from all sides as far how people think the story ended. I read a bunch of stuff on how he could be alive; however, some of it tends to contradict what they are saying and is not really written in a proper manner. I thought it would be best for me to say what I felt on here that way I don't have to argue with an eighteen year old kid, on a forum, who thinks that the girl he imagines having sex with should end up with the guy he imagines himself to be.

You have to realize that the show is over. Lelouch's story is over. You have to move on with your lives and watch another show. We have suggested plenty of things to you, so you won't have to worry about running out of shows to watch. This show has managed to entertain me the entire way. It ended up becoming more then I expected. It will be really hard to replicate what this show did for a while. If they decide to make more related material, I am up for it. Heck, if they retcon the ending, I wouldn't care. That is why I watch all the different variations of Evangelion. If they want to put a twist on the same show, go right ahead, as long as it is entertaining.

Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

(50:15-53:49)Closing

We will see what are we going to do for the next episode. By the way, I did not realize how ironic it is that we did Code Geass on episode 11. I honestly didn't plan that.

Episode 10 - I'm Just Sayin'

(0:00-3:35)Introduction

Yeah. There are things happening here. Technology is a wonderful thing.

(3:36-46:26)Discussion (Corrections & Retractions)

If you want to continue to laugh at us as we make even more mistakes, you can listen to this part. Otherwise, you can skip to the suggestions. Oh yeah, here is the Hyori we were talking about.

Nice.

(46:27-1:18:20)Discussion (Suggestions)

I did not expect for one of the reviews to run long, so I had to not make it suck as much. Kidding. Peterson thought we would make him skip over the American comic. Listen to him dig his own grave. I can't find that link for that free copy of volume 1 of Umbrella Academy, so you're screwed.

Battle Angel
Umbrella Academy
B-Shock
Nerima Daikon Brothers
We Got Married

(1:18:21-1:24:18)Closing

I don't think we have anything planned for the next episode again. Crap.....

LA LA LA LA LA

Here is the Nerima Daikon Brothers opening with the Japanese VAs of the characters.

He is so gay for that panda.

And as a farewell, a small message from the American VAs.

In case you don’t get it. Look to your right and buy the shows people.
